Alyson Hannigan had previosuly sat down for an exclusive interview with Celebrity Baby Scoop and dished about her home birth, the significance of Satyana’s name and birth date, how fatherhood has been for hubby Alexis Denisof and the funny story behind those adorable kangaroo Halloween costumes, and she also talked a bit about Sarah (Michelle Gellar):

CBS: Are you and Sarah Michelle Gellar still in touch? Have you met baby Charlotte?
AH: “I sent her a card congratulating her on her pregnancy and she wrote me back, but I’ve not met Charlotte. I’m so happy for her.”

Alyson Hannigan has stated she wouldn’t appear in the proposed new Buffy the Vampire Slayer film because Joss Whedon isn’t involved with the project. Earlier this year it emerged that a new film version of Buffy was in the works but it did not involve Joss Whedon and was not a sequel to the television series.
Instead the project was a complete reboot of the franchise with the idea that it would be the first in a series of films.

Unsurprisingly fans did not meet the prospect of a Whedon-free Buffy warmly and Alyson Hannigan seems to agree with them.

“Yeah, that’s a very big mistake in my opinion. I mean if Joss isn’t involved, it’s only the title. Joss is the only reason that we would go back. I mean, it’s just ridiculous to think of that TV show without Joss.” said Alyson Hannigan during an interview with Cinema Blend.
